SOLDIERS OF INNOCENCE/죄없는 병사들 was made during the years 1987 - 1990 and was filmed entirely on location in South Korea. It was nominated for two Golden Bell Awards (Korea's equivalent to the Academy Award) for Best Cinematography and Best New Director. It won Best New Director.
THE EYES OF DAWN/여명의 눈동자 is a 38 hour miniseries that aired on the MBC-TV Network in Korea during 1992. It swept the Korean Emmy Awards that year and has been considered one of the most successful miniseries of its time.
